Digital Family Reunion 2014 in LA

Dear Digital Family,

All we can say is, WOW!!! If you were among the nearly 800 who attended the Digital Family Reunion last Wednesday, you already know what a special evening was had by all. And if you couldn’t join us this year, we missed you! Here’s a quick recap of the night’s festivities and a few links to more info for all to enjoy…

As expected, this year’s gathering was our biggest and best ever! Highlights included a panel discussion led by Ben Kuo and featuring Abhi Nemani, Oded Noy, Erik Rannala, Matt Kozlov and Chet Pipkin, which inspired our audience with insights into where LA tech is headed in 2015.

Also on hand were recipients of the socalTECH 50, who were honored during a VIP reception preceding the event. Get to know this esteemed group of industry influencers courtesy of our friends at Slipp.

Chet Pipkin, founder and CEO of Belkin, was the latest in a series of notable Southern California entrepreneurs to receive the DFR Outstanding Achievement Honor.

But the real reason for the success of DFR ’14 is YOU! Having such a high caliber of professionals create an atmosphere of connection and collaboration isn’t just what makes DFR so unique – it’s fundamentally what it’s all about! We’re thrilled so many of you made an effort to be there and contribute to the extraordinary social fabric that weaves together and helps strengthen our community.

We’d also like to say a sincere “thank you” to our fantastic sponsors, over 50 community partners and the vendors, volunteers and Skirball staff who helped make the event possible. DFR ’14 photos are up Facebook… please share more on our timeline and keep in touch year-round via LinkedInand on Twitter.

We truly hope you enjoyed this memorable celebration of our vibrant digital media and technology community. We’re already looking forward to seeing you at DFR ’15 on December 9, 2015!

Sincerely,

The Digital Family Reunion Team
